The Government application process is often scored to determine the most suitable candidate.  If your written application does not score well enough, you will not be invited to interview. Yes that’s right.  If you are putting forward well crafted applications but do not get a response, this could be why.  If you don’t understand this process, you could be missing out on great career opportunities.
